HSK 1–6 Exam Preparation · Global Edition
Hanzi-first with pinyin kept in the appendix, covering the official HSK 1–6 syllabus word by word — full standard Mandarin audio and real-format mock exams. Seven regional editions are built on this same global core.
Four design principles
Characters first — pinyin as backup
Lessons are written in real characters, with pinyin kept in the appendix for when you need it. You finish able to read actual Chinese — not stuck on pinyin forever.
A little Chinese culture in every lesson
Short lines from Chinese classics — the Analects, the Tao Te Ching — are woven into the lessons, so you learn how Chinese people think along with the language.
Not one word missing from the official list
Vocabulary and grammar follow the official HSK syllabus, word by word. Finish the course and you have covered every word the exam tests.
Start from absolute zero
Lesson one starts from scratch. Every word and grammar point comes with an English, French or Arabic explanation — no Chinese needed to begin.
Full audio coverage
Standard audio for every word, text and dialogue — listening and speaking together.
Gamified course map
Five stages per unit, from words to exam drills — score 80 on the quiz to unlock the next.
Spaced repetition
Flashcards auto-scheduled by the forgetting curve, with a mistake book for weak points.
Seven regional editions
A global core with per-region adaptation: mother-tongue glosses, local scenes, culture cases and religious sensitivities.
One global core · seven regional editions
The core stays fixed; only the localisation changes — mother-tongue glosses, local scenes, culture curation, religious review, localised illustrations and proper nouns.

Frequently asked questions
What is BPMF Chinese?
An online HSK 1–6 exam-preparation platform for non-heritage learners worldwide. Courses follow the 2025 official syllabus with characters first and pinyin in the appendix, offering vocabulary, texts, listening, real-format mock exams and a spaced-repetition review system — a global core plus seven regional editions. The whole site works in English, French and Arabic.
Do the courses really cover the official wordlist?
Yes. The courses are built on the official HSK syllabus published in November 2025: 4,088 syllabus words are assigned word by word into units, each with pinyin, part of speech, English/French/Arabic glosses and standard audio.
Are the audio and mock exams already live?
Yes — 10,731 standard Mandarin audio clips are live (every word, sentence and dialogue), plus 140 real-format mock exam questions: same structure, timing and scoring as the real HSK (out of 300, pass at 180).
What are the terms of the free-continuation guarantee?
Complete the course as required (at least 80% of units plus 1 full mock exam); if you then fail the HSK exam, you continue the same course free until you pass. See the terms of service for details.
Is it paid right now?
No — access is free during the seed phase and no payment is involved. List prices rise by level (one-time): HSK 1 $1.90, HSK 2 $9, HSK 3 $19, HSK 4 $89, HSK 5 $149, HSK 6 $199. They apply once payments open, date to be announced; the refund policy applies from then.
Who is it for?
Non-heritage learners aged 16-30. Complete beginners start with the HSK 1 course; if you have some foundation, take the free 3-minute placement test to see which level to start at.
